Body Image and Self Acceptance in a Fat Phobic World: Moving Clients Beyond Old Patterns

Few people enjoy true peace of mind when it comes to their appearance. Dissatisfaction with the body can function to distract clients from underlying issues, disrupting the therapeutic process. This workshop will take you into uncharted territory, challenging much of what you’ve heard about weight and health, and will provide you with tools and interventions to help shift your client’s relationship with their bodies, and directly unpack underlying issues.

Mediation Skills for Mental Health Professionals

We are living in challenging times, and the ability to deal with conflict is becoming increasingly important. Having a mediation-mindset allows you to offer your clients a perspective and a process for handling conflict in the workplace, home, school, and elsewhere. This interactive workshop will provide you with a unique opportunity to enhance your negotiation and conflict management skills and abilities. You will walk away with tools and techniques you can use, as well as specific skills you can teach your clients.

Download a brochure to learn more, and also to learn about the May 22 workshop. There is a discount if you register for both workshops at the same time, as you will note in this brochure.

Cost is $59. You can register here.
